A set of valuable tools to complement psychrometric charts and data tables

HumidAir is a valuable set of tools to complement psychrometric charts and data tables that previously had to be often prepared for calculations involving humid air.

By the use of selectable input data HumidAir can produce all the parameters for the components of the air and thus for the air itself too. Air within the temperature range of -12oC to +120oC is covered, pressures from 500mbar to 2000mbar.

Software Specification
The software comprises a multi-page spreadsheet which run under Microsoft Excel 2003 or newer.

A 30 day e-mail and fax support service is provided.
The software comes with comprehensive electronic documentation and examples of usage. Customisable installation via state of the art setup software.
Please note that Microsoft Excel is not supplied with HumidAir.

HumidAir has three sections, the functionality of each spreadsheet is listed below, and a full list of worksheets can be found here.

1. Database Worksheets
This section establishes the properties of the components of humid air.  The data is derived from a database of properties for dry air, water vapour and water. Direct data input is unnecessary. This data is used by sections two and three of HumidAir.

2. Supporting Worksheets
This section is concerned with the use of derived parameters for user selected temperatures (or temperature ranges) and pressure to evaluate the the properties of the humid air.

The air under investigation may be at a temperature from -12Oc to +120Oc and the pressure range from 200mbar to 500mbar absolute.

These worksheets can be used to prepare graphs and tables of data.

3. Application Worksheets
This section contains worksheets that can perform many of the common types of air calculation, particularly those that normally require the use of a printed psychrometric charts.  See below for a full list!
